Mondays and Wednesdays I cheer on the Blue Blasters. The Blue Blasters almost always know which way their goal is.  They almost always know where the ball is.  They almost always know who their team mates are. They are pretty good! Watching 4 year olds play soccer is probably the most entertaining part of my week.

Handsome

“In that one with you wearing the black head thing, why does he look so handsome?” asked William. He was looking past my shoulder so I was pretty sure that he was asking about some of our photos.  At least once a day William and I have a guessing game conversation.  He makes a statement or asks a question and I have to use my super kid psychic powers to try and figure out what he’s talking about. He never believes that I don’t know what he’s talking about and so he hardly clarifies… because… “you KNOW!”

After lots of pointing and question asking on my part and a little frustration and not quite enough clear answers on his part, I found the photo he was asking about.  Michael and I went to Switzerland to visit friends and my mom took a cute photo of us in the old town area of Zurich.  I am NOT wearing a black head thing, but the hood is up on my RED coat.  Michael is standing right next to me and does look quite handsome.

He asks again, “Why does he look so handsome?”

I reply, “We’re dressed warm for the snow so Michael is wearing a hat and scarf.”

“But why? Come on, why?” he said.

What does he want me to say?  I have no clue, as usual. So I say, “Well he’s just handsome isn’t he?” I was hoping it will be enough of an answer.

I guess it was because the next thing he said was, ” Why can’t Darth Vader breathe without his helmet?”

Everything circles back to Star Wars.  I just can’t keep up!
